The EVerter was designed to utilize your EV as an off-grid power source in the event of a power outage and/or if supplementary power is needed. The Tesla Model 3 has a high capacity battery pack that can power household appliances up to several days.

The EVerter is a power inverter kit that utilizes the high-power capacity of your EV’s battery to create 120 VAC for household appliances. The EVerter taps into the vehicles 12 Volt system that is being replenished from the EV’s larger main battery pack.

All that is necessary to operate the EVerter is to connect it to the EV’s 12 Volt source, plug in the desired appliances and turn on the EVerter.

The EVerter mobile app is a modified stopwatch used to remotely track the electric vehicle battery capacity and estimated inverter run time. The app uses the Tesla cloud to login to the vehicle than establishes a direct connection to acquire remaining and estimated battery mileage. The app than uses the change of these readings over time to estimate the amount of remaining usage time.
