The Lifeline System acquires instrument readings from a wide variety of devices regardless of connection type (serial, TTL, Bluetooth, IrDA, Ethernet, USB - Handheld, Mobile or Fixed) and converts this information onto a secure WiFi network along with GPS location information using the Lifeline Interoperable Network Communicator (LINC). The Lifeline Gateway resolves distance problems by routing the WiFi LINC data to an Internet connection through redundant cellular providers and/or through an Ethernet connected satellite modem. Live instrument readings are viewed by remote Subject Matter Experts.
